Hello there,
So, I tried to get an archived board out of the archive, but it doesn’t work. However, I get a message that the board was “successfully recreated”.
Here a picture after I clicked on the “recreate” button: the message on the bottom right says the action was successful, but the board is still in the archive.
I tried another board in the archive, there I could reinstate it no problem.
There is definitely a bug, once for the failed un-archiving, and also for the “wrong” message telling me it was successful.
Thank you for your support!
Best,
Judith
Hello Judith,
I am escalating the issue to R&D to understand the source of the problem.

Hello @judith_thommen ,
Does the workspace where the board to be restored was located still exist? Is your account indeed a contributor to the workspace?
If the workspace is also archived, you can restore the workspace. The board should then be accessible again.
Kind regards,
Hello,
The workspace still exists, and I am a contributor - I can un-archive other boards on the list in the screenshot, just not that specific one.
Regards,
Judith
Hi @judith_thommen,
After research, you must be admin of the board in order to archive or unarchive a board.
With your feedback we have been able to reproduce your case and discover display inconsistencies in the archive interface. We are going to fix those display anomalies in a future release.
Regardless, to address your issue, contact the board admin who archived the board : juergen.brueckl@visiativ.com. Juergen, or any board admin, will be able to restore the board.
Regards,
Thomas,
