Today, many Suivi portals lack a simple, visible, and recurring space to surface fresh information. As a result, important announcements get lost, new products are less visible, and portal engagement often relies on workarounds.
With Widget News, your teams can publish and highlight news directly within a Suivi portal, in a readable, lively, and easy-to-consult format.
The objective is simple: help end-users quickly see what’s changing, identify useful information at the right time, and make the portal a more lively entry point daily.
How it works?
-
A portal manager adds a news feed to highlight announcements, product news, or memos.
-
The widget is connected to a structured content source containing the expected information: title, summary or content, image, category, dates, author, reading time, optional link.
-
The widget selects visible news items and sorts them by recency to display the most relevant information first.
-
Users consult a clear and updated feed with an immediately understandable rendering based on the navigation context.
-
Several display formats are available in V1: list, cards, and carousel.
Concretely, for whom?
-
For portal administrators who want to publish product news, internal announcements, or tracking information without recreating an entire page each time.
-
For business teams who wish to disseminate short memos or brief reports with time-limited visibility.
-
For end-users who need to immediately identify useful updates as soon as they arrive on the portal.
Good to know
This first version focuses on a standard, robust, and quick-to-deploy widget.
In V1, you will be able to:
-
connect the widget to a structured data source;
-
manage the essential fields of a news item;
-
benefit from sorting by recency and temporal visibility of publications;
-
reserve administration for authorized users.
However, this version does not include:
-
a complete editorial CMS in Suivi;
-
advanced multi-step validation workflows;
-
advanced graphic customization;
-
personalized recommendations per user;
-
comments, reactions, or advanced analytics per news item.
