Effectively Using the State Matrix View in SUIVI

Hello everyone,

New documentation available on a very powerful SUIVI view: the State Matrix view.

This view allows you to visualize the intersection between two dimensions, in a grid format, to compare, qualify, or track the status of each possible combination at a glance.

For example, it can be used to:

  • build a benchmark of solutions or competitors,
  • track the functional coverage of an offer,
  • manage audit controls by site or subsidiary,
  • compare requirements, features, risks, or statuses,
  • quickly visualize what is covered, partial, missing, or to be processed.

The documentation details, among other things:

  • the general principle of the State Matrix,
  • the essential prerequisites,
  • the logic of the 3 necessary boards,
  • the creation of Kanban views used as axes,
  • populating the matrix, manually or via CSV import,
  • the use of the fast tag,
  • the information displayable in each cell,
  • the limitations to be aware of,
  • modeling best practices.

To remember: the State Matrix is particularly useful when you need to manage structured intersections of the type:

elements A × elements B = status, score, badge, comment, or progress

Feel free to share your use cases, matrices, or questions in this thread. It’s a very interesting view as soon as you want to make a cross-analysis or coverage status readable.
