Don’t know where to start? The easiest way is to use a “ready-to-use” template like the Project Management template (category Steering) : it gives you a clear structure to track your tasks, progress, assignees, and deadlines.
1) Create your board from the template
- Open the template gallery
- Category Steering → Project Management
- Create your board, then rename it with your project’s name (e.g., “Website Redesign”, “ERP Deployment”, etc.)
2) Fill in the first 10 tasks (no more!)
Each line = one task.
Start simple:
- one task = an action verb (“Draft the specifications”, “Validate the mock-up”, “Train the team”…)
- add a deadline and an assignee
- set a priority
- if needed, detail in sub-tasks (checklist)
3) Manage with the included views
This template is practical because it comes with several ready-made views:
- Data Table: ideal for daily entry / updates
- Kanban by status: perfect for visualizing “to do / in progress / completed”
- Project Schedule (timeline): to see workloads, deadlines, conflicts
- Deliverables View: to track what needs to be produced and validated

If you tell us in the comments the type of project (IT, industrial, marketing, etc.), we can suggest 2-3 useful columns to add (risks, workload, cost, milestones…).
