Rating and KANBAN view

I’m struggling with an issue in my prioritization matrix (made with KANBAN view) and can’t seem to figure out how to fix it.

In my view, the left column displays the priority score on a scale from 1 to 5. Right now, the score 1 appears at the top, and the score 5 at the bottom.
What I would like is to reverse this order, so that the highest score (5) is shown at the top. The goal is for the upper-left corner to display the actions with both the highest impact and the highest priority, instead of the opposite.

I’ve looked through the display, sorting, and grouping options, but I can’t find anything that allows me to invert or reorder the ranking labels in this view.

Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks in advance for your help !

I hate seeing our users struggling ! Will add an option to sort the rows soon. Will let you know when available

Merci @Gaël_PAQUET , je déplace donc ce sujet dans la catégorie des retours et idées. Hâte de voir cette nouvelle option !

Hi @Aurélie_Gayon

Just to complement @Gaël_PAQUET ‘s answer while we’re working on a proper “row sorting” option in the KANBAN view, there’s a small workaround that might help in the meantime.

You can reproduce your prioritization matrix using the Matrix view instead of KANBAN:

  1. Create a new Matrix view on the same board.

  2. Use your priority score (1–5) on one axis and your impact on the other.

  3. By default, both axes are sorted from the lowest to the highest value.

  4. In the Matrix settings, you can customize the axis labels with “X lower label” / “X higher label” and the same for Y, for example:

    • X lower label: “Low impact” / X higher label: “High impact”

    • Y lower label: “Low priority” / Y higher label: “High priority”

The visual result is a bit different from a KANBAN, but it still lets you quickly spot the items with high impact & high priority in the same corner of the matrix.

Not a perfect replacement for your current KANBAN setup, but it can help you get the behaviour you want until the new sorting option is available

New Kanban sort option will be available tomorrow for rows grouped on ratings
